The Kirby Laing Centre, particularly through the work of Craig Bartholomew, was able to facilitate initial introductions between Jordan and the publisher, who identified Tota Scriptura as a title of interest.
KLC was also instrumental in bringing the publishing agreement to fruition, via internal advice and consultation over the proposal, and through the generosity of several members of our academic community. These agreed to read the proposal and, where appropriate, to offer their provisional endorsement of the project idea. Their engagement with the 25-page proposal and their motivations for it were material to the North American publisher’s eventual offer of a contract for the book. It would not have been possible to get to this stage without our fellows’ kind help.
